Yesterday, when our dear leader published his first Lindsay Lohan post in months was one of the happiest days of my recent life. And then, the very next day, there's a Love Letter to Amy Holmes. Skippy writes well on a lot of subjects, but the women in his fantasy life are by far my favorite to read about. I don't know if I agree with his view of Lindsay Lohan as the greatest American ever, but for all the great reading she's inspired as his muse, I think I owe that woman a rimjob. But, on the other hand, that's Skippy's fantasy, and it might not be sanitary to lick where another tongue has just been, even one as thoroughly disinfected as his. So some other tribute maybe.
I'm also not much of a salad tossing enthusiast myself. Skippy would say that makes me an inhuman monster unworthy of love. He's right about so many things that I should probably try tossing salad. But my own education is not the subject of this post. I bring up rimjobs just to illustrate how great the past two days have been and how far I would go for the muse responsible.
There's just something deeply right with the world when Skippy's romantic side comes out. It's like the smell of napalm in the morning, only even better. Actually, I don't know what napalm smells like at any time of day, but the point is that the past two days have been really good and I owe it all to Lindsay Lohan.
I think I will finally update the archive for the sake of all of the many users of this site. I would not have been able to find the link to the salad tossing post but for my archive here. When I think of all the many young people out there with dreams of learning to write well, but deprived of an archive of Skippy's work, I realize just how shitty modern education is that such a thing isn't provided in all the schools and it starts to get me down. But then I realize how easily I can do something about it, and I'm back to smelling napalm in the morning--or whatever it is that smells like victory.
